Mobile DJ's generally are booked a MINIMUM of six months ahead of time. So it's to your advantage to find entertainment for your event well in advance. Surveys have shown that entertainment is most often lowest in priority when planning an affair. If you want a real choice in picking a DJ for your next event,  PLAN EARLY!!!

Depending on the type of event, the cost of a DJ can be a small or a major portion. If in fact the price of the DJ is the main cost of your event, planning further ahead is EVEN MORE IMPORTANT! This will allow more time to budget your finances and possibly avoid getting stuck with the only available DJ in town whose cost goes way beyond what you planned to pay!

Disc Jockey rates can vary based on a number of factors: talent, experience, emcee ability, number of employees, equipment needed, music knowledge, mixing ability and personality. Actual rates vary greatly in different parts of the country. Here in the Greenville / Spartanburg area, rates can range from $300 to $1,000 for a typical 4 hour booking. The highest price DOES NOT guarantee the best entertainment. It is very important to "shop around" and determine for yourself which DJ best fits you and your guests tastes, your budget and personality.
