Some DJ's advertise and promote the huge size of their music libraries. This might sound great at first, but as is the case with most any service, quality versus quantity should be considered. A knowledgeable and experienced DJ will "weed out" music that hasn't seen a turntable or CD player in years. He/she will have a relatively compact but well rounded library on hand at all times consisting of a variety of genres.
